This one was a delivery. Sarah and I spent a last-minute workday at EPCOT during Food & Wine, and while I was locked into my laptop she came back with lunch from Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure. Most of the day was festival booths and small plates, so this was the one real meal of the day.
She brought me the Texas brisket sandwich on Texas toast with a side of baked beans. Great flavor. The brisket was the star. It had real smoke to it, the kind where you stop typing for a second after the first bite. The Texas toast held up and did its job without getting in the way. The beans were a good, hearty side and fit right in with the brisket. Brisket 5/5. Baked beans 5/5. It was a full, filling plate, which mattered on a day otherwise built on festival-sized bites.
Order-and-go counter service, and service was quick. I didn't eat inside. I ate it at my work table outside, which is maybe the best way to have barbecue at EPCOT anyway.
Knup 7.3 / 10. A good brisket sandwich and a real lunch in the middle of a snack-heavy festival day. Next time I want to sit inside and try more of the menu myself.
