What it was

Fact Central was an early attempt at building a fact database — structured trivia and reference before AI made “just ask the model” the default move.

It was the right category a decade too early, with the wrong amount of manual labor.

Why it existed

I wanted a library I controlled, not another blog post. Databases compound if you can actually fill them. That “if” is the whole business.

Where it is now

Archived. Funny in hindsight: the job is easy now and the original grind looks medieval.
